What I did this summer

My mommy can’t write this week because she’s tired. She said we wore her slap out while we were at the beach. I think it’s because of Moose. He didn’t take a nap the whole time we were there and he cried real bad when he didn’t get to ride the alligator.

The house we stayed in had a alligator. The alligator went to the garage, to the kitchen and then all the way up to the bedrooms. I never stayed in a house with a alligator before. Mommy tried to tell Moose that the batteries in the alligator went bad, but she was wrong because the door opened and Papa walked out of the alligator.

Papa doesn’t like to take stairs.

It rained a whole lot for two days and the power went out so the alligator didn’t work. And there was a big hole in the bathroom, and Mommy said a lot of bad words and put a bucket under it. Then she drank a lot of tomato juice while Moose and me ran up and down the stairs playing cowboys and Indians.

But then the sun came out and the alligator started working again and we got to go out to the beach and have a lot of fun. I cried when we had to come home.

Now Mommy is going to California, but we can’t go, so we’re going to talk to her on the computer while she’s gone, and she’s going to bring us presents when she comes home, and I’m going to draw her pictures, but today is Melinda’s birthday.  Melinda is Mommy’s friend, and Mommy said I should draw her pictures instead.
